SCCK and the Board of Directors are now recruiting a new General Manager to make sure that the current 40+ corporate and individual, as well as future members are served in the best possible way. As a General Manager, you will be the “face of the SCCK”, and responsible for driving the overall activities in the Chamber. You will work towards agreed performance and activity objectives and will directly impact the way the Chamber is performing and how it is perceived by its members. As our GM, you will have a chance to expand your business network in the international and Korean business environment. The Chamber’s main goal is to act as a platform and a common voice for Swedish businesses in South Korea. In this fast developing market there is a constant need to be updated on the latest development in regulations, economy, Human Resource, Business and Markets trends. SCCK regularly organizes seminars, working-group meetings and other events in order to update and inform our members on recent developments and give the opportunity to network and share experiences. We are also working very closely with the Swedish Embassy and Business Sweden here in Seoul on various issues such as trade policies, FTA agreement with the EU and other different industry matters to increase awareness and support our Swedish companies.
The past year many new Swedish companies have entered the Korean market and it's our goal to welcome them as new members of the SCCK. We look forward to having a succesful 2020!
The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Korea (SCCK) was established in January 2012, as the representative for the Swedish Business Community in Korea. The inauguration was commemorated by the Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf on May 31, 2012, when the King and Queen made an official visit to The Republic of Korea.

We have a very interesting year that soon is coming to an end with the 60 year anniversary between Sweden and Korea. I am sure that 2020 will be just as good.
Korea as a market offers a strong and high tech Industrial base and a strong consumer oriented population.
Today Korea represents fantastic opportunities to expand and invest in doing business in this country
Korea has all the attributes for doing sound business - a highly educated diligent workforce, a strong industry in shipbuilding, automotive, steel, electronics, biomedical, environmental, entertainment, medical, energy just to name a few. Having said that there are of course some things that are very different to doing business in Sweden and this is where SCCK come in.
